This patient was a severe dental phobic, his first consultation chat was in his car, we spoke to him with compassion and eventually he allowed us to look in his mouth, whilst most dentist would be looking at a full extraction clearance of all teeth and then dentures, we were able to save all the teeth, no need for implants here, fixed dental bridgework was fitted in 2009 and remains stable thus far. The cost savings against Dental implants and the health benefits of keeping his teeth and having a fixed set of teeth has been life changing for this patient.
