We have the latest state of the art facilities utilising cutting edge technology, including our CEREC 3D machine, which allows us to make a single tooth within the hour. Our in-house CBCT (Cone beam CT scanner) will allow us to plan your implant treatment accurately in 3D, ensuring that all the Implants placed at the practice are correct and minimise any risk to patients. Timbwani Baptist Primary School
A dental camp was conducted at this very needy site in February 2018. Dr. Zala and Dr. Kotecha attended to 400 children. Health education was delivered to all as well as vital resources.
We were so touched by these children that had so little yet gave all their love when we were with them, we decided to work with the headmaster and the school to support small changes.
The first thing we did is sponsor a computer lab. 6 desktop computers, a laptop, a projector and ups power banks were supplied and all the children have benefitted from the use of the facilities. Even in the holidays, children can access computers.
We will be working closely with this organisation. They spread smiles with every photo they send of the kids’ progress.
Care dental and Harbour dental will continue to sponsor this school and provide much-needed support.
Cancer Research Fundraiser
Dr Amit Kotecha lost his mum to cancer nearly 30 years ago. He had pledged and successfully raised £117,000 for Cancer Research UK.
He raised these much needed funds for Cancer Research UK by attempting to Summit Mount Everest in 2010, 2012 and 2016, having almost reached the Summit on his third attempt.
Each climb was funded by himself, meaning that every penny raised went to Cancer Research UK.
Dr Amit Kotecha represented Cancer Research UK at Parliament and was an instrumental in passing the plain packaging campaign for cigarettes.
Built A School In Nepal In 2012
The school was built in Solekumbhu Nepal for children in a very remote area. It provides education for an isolated community. The school building is now a community centre with a free Internet cafe!
Oral Education Camp in India
This was a dental health education camp in rural India. 2016.
400 children were educated on oral health and oral cancers.
All received an oral health pack as well as a school jumper. All accompanying adults received a blanket.
Was done with my son as part of his work experience prior to University applications.
We work in the poorest parts of India and Africa.
